 Seems like we had an awesome time in Monmouth. From the looks of it clear skies and decently cold weather. Wish I went but at least the rest of STN had some fun!

Here we were just a few months ago enjoying the snow last minute. Ski trip rocked, and for the first time in STN history, nobody came home injured! [Ski Trip Album] <----Link to the album

Reminder about this weekend's campout:
- Backpackers - Meeting Time: Saturday 8AM @ the church.
- Campers - Meeting Time: TBA
- Do not forget to have your sleeping bags and tents read for the campout.
- Make sure to pack everything in one bag (3 days 2 nights)
- Hiking Boots OR Sneakers
- Thick Sweater, it's cold!
- Stuff to eat with (plate, spoon, cup, etc)
- Get back with your Leader about what your meal plan is and what else needs to be done.

Welcome to the New & Improved STN blog!

It's been awhile since we have updated and there needs some care for this blog. Anyways, here are some of the news from STN:

- Troop came back from an adventurous trek from England, UK! We spend two weeks hiking Hadrian's Wall for 8 days and visited Newcastle and Edinburgh. You can look at the pictures by clicking on the picture located the right sidebar.
- Troop was on the Manhattan Times! Click Here!
- The boys have begun meetings this month every Friday at 6:30PM @ the church.
- Harriman Campout is coming up in a few weeks! Oct. 9 - 11
- Boys will be attending a wrestling match in Brooklyn thanks to a couple of friends. Pictures will be posted soon.

Congratulations to Gabriel for being elected as SPL & Mark for ASPL!

Hello Scouts

If anyone would like to do a volunteer project or don't have anything to do on a Saturday afternoon, you can join the Hudson River Coastal Clean Up.

Date: Saturday, September 26 Time: 9:30 AM-11:30 PM (don't have to stay the whole day)
Meeting Location: 100th Street and Hudson River
Rain Provisions: Project will NOT continue if we have rain.
Attire: Dress comfortably, must wear closed toe shoes, no jewelry, and hair back. Note that there will not be a location to store valuables.
Food & Drink: Volunteers are encouraged to bring water. If staying for the duration, bring lunch and a snack.
Other areas of concern: Volunteers should be able to navigate rocks.
Supplies: pencils, garbage bags, gloves

Please let your SPL know you are going so that he can contact the Assistant Scoutmaster.
